Our orchard division is operated by R. Allen Scheidt formerly of Scheidt Enterprises. Allen started Scheidt Enterprises in 1971 after graduating from Fresno State College. Over the past 30 plus years, many new innovations have been introduced to the almond, walnut, etc. harvesting methods. Allen and Scheidt Enterprises have been a leader and innovator in carts, conveyors and bank out systems.

In 1995, Allen joined forces with Clint Erling at KCI, and together, have brought harvesting equipment to a new level. Along with a highly talented group of fabricators KCI is able to offer one of the best and most complete lines of nut harvesting equipment. If you took a snapshot of all the new and most popular equipment used today, you would see many KCI design ideas.
